A Fun Home Tour
I’m popping in today to share with you a video tour of a Northeast Atlanta bungalow owned by Karen Mooney, the president of Ballard Designs.
This tour is a standout among many I see online because Karen’s home is so interesting and stylish, but is designed for living. I loved how practical some of the ideas were (Ikea cabinets, performance fabrics) and I’ve personally experienced the Roman shade issue she talks about and will be borrowing her idea of how to solve it.
Also, in a happy accident, today is the last day of Ballard Design’s sale where you can take 30% off one item.
P.S. Four fabulous home tours and a schoolhouse turned cottage.
I loved this home tour!!
That was a fabulous hone tour. Thanks!
I loved this tour, thanks for sharing. I did the faux Roman shades too with a blind. Much less fabric so much less expensive too!
Just discovered your bog and enjoy it so much. We live in Wichita now, moved here from our lake home in Grand Lake Oklahoma so love your lake home posts also. An adventure you might enjoy if you never have is pelican season on Grand Lake. Hundreds to thousands of white pelicans arrive in October and stay thru Nov. Quite fun to witness.
That sounds wonderful, Judy! We have friends on Grand Lake and I’m filing that away. Thanks for your comment!
