Links for Your Long weekend
Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? We’re at the lake to kick off the summer season. We’ll have a full house, which is always fun.
On Fridays, I often share interesting or entertaining things I’ve found around the web. Here’s what I saved to share with you this week.

This 1906 San Francisco house is over 4000 square feet but it feels much cozier than that. And that view from the study!
The courtyard at the Louvre is transformed into an outdoor cinema in the summer.
I bought this table runner for holiday weekends. I may have to pick up the napkins too.
What a darling Cape Cod vacation rental.
This weekend I hosted book club and we discussed The Woman in the Library. Have you read it? We all agreed we liked it but we had questions! Lots of lively conversation ensued.
I made these spinach lasagna rollups for my book club girls and they got a lot of thumbs up. The recipe doesn’t call for meat, but I added 1/2 pound of browned ground beef and 1/2 pound of browned Italian sausage. I also used frozen spinach instead of fresh and subbed mozzarella cheese for the Monterey jack. The jarred sauce I used was Rao’s marinara (it’s Ina approved!).
Have a lovely weekend!
P.S. Father’s Day gift ideas and new things to watch and read.
I love the SF house and Cape Cod rental! I’ll definitely try the lasagna rollups. I’m never without Rao’s Marinara. Good price at Sam’s Club or Costco…2-pack for $9. Have a great holiday weekend!
Yes, that’s where I get Rao’s too! Let me know if you like the rollups.
I had to laugh about the recipe…so basically you didn’t make the actual recipe, but created your own from it. Which can be a good thing! So would you recommend the book? I am also in a book club
Lol you’re right, Nanci. I guess the recipe is more like a suggestion. Yes, I would suggest the book. We all it enjoyed it but, probably more importantly for a book club, it generated a lot of discussion.
Great. Have a wonderful weekend!
