Links for Your Weekend

Happy Friday! How has your week gone?

The highlight of my week was when our book club met in person for the first time in a few months. We started in our hostess’s beautiful back yard and when the rain started we moved into the garage. Even with the social distancing, it was so good to be together again!

Often on weekends, I like to share things I found interesting or entertaining around the web. Here are a few things I saved to share with you here.

A 355 foot apartment in the West Village. I’m fascinated by these small spaces, especially after having a son live in NYC for a year.

Nantucket author Elin Hilderbrand is giving tours of the island in her Instagram stories.

This hummus topped with tomatoes and cucumbers (and served with toasted pita bread) looks and sounds delicious. I’m saving it for summer tomato season. Here’s the recipe from Smitten Kitchen.

I’m not an audiobook listener, but sometimes I think I’d like to be. I thought these tips were really helpful.

Kindle Deals

Here are some notable books that are Kindle Deals at the time Iโ€™m writing this.

A Good Marriage by Kimberly McCreight. I recently devoured this page-turner, which was released earlier this month and is on lots of summer reading lists.

The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi. Another new release and Reese Witherspoon’s latest book club pick.

Capital Gaines: Smart Things I Learned Doing Stupid Stuff by Chip Gaines. Lessons from the ever-popular TV host.

I hope you have a good weekend!
