Links for Your Weekend

Happy Friday! How was your week? I know weather talk is so boring but is it as hot where you are as it is in KC right now? Oof.

On Fridays, I sometimes share interesting or entertaining links I’ve found around the web. Here’s what I saved to share with you this week (I think it’s a good one!).

Colin Firth and Matthew MacFayden are co-starring in a new Netflix movie, which is notable to Pride and Prejudice fans because they are the two most well-known Mr. Darcys. They talk about that in this Vanity Fair article.

The Nester transformed this room in her new home from pink to neutral. This home makeover is going to be so fun to watch.

Rita Collins is a 70-year-old retired teacher who spends her summers driving around the country in her traveling bookstore. She stops and sets up at places like book festivals, farmers’ markets, and coffee shops. Amazing!

What would you do with a weekend in Paris? Rebecca shared her recent trip so we get to live vicariously.

This video of Ali Wentworth giving a tour of the bookshelves in her beautiful NYC apartment is fun to watch and she’s got some great reading recommendations too.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is 50 years old! Did you know Judith Viorst wrote it about her own son? They talk about it here.

File this under simple pleasures: I picked up this salad bowl at Target because of its wide, shallow shape. I use it for so many things – it’s the only bowl I reach for now.

My sister-in-law brought this dressing for sub sandwiches to the lake for Memorial Day and we all became fans (thanks, Julie). It’s hard to find locally for us so I ordered it from Amazon.

I hope you have a great weekend!
