Links for Your Weekend

Happy Friday! How was your week?

We’ve been camped out at the lake while they finish our hardwood floors at home. They’re also replacing the decks at our lake condo complex so hammers and saws have been our companions for a few weeks now. It will be so exciting when it’s all done.

On Fridays, I often share interesting or entertaining things I’ve found around the web. Here’s what I saved to share with you this week.

There’s so much inspiration to be found in this charming, classic home on Cape Cod.

How to grow boxwoods in pots and baskets. I love boxwoods in pots and this article has some good tips and pretty inspiration photos.

‘We’re book nerds’: the female friends opening bookshops together. What book lover hasn’t dreamed of opening their own bookstore?

This wooden toy sailboat from Target’s Magnolia line would be darling in an Easter basket.

These monogrammed Easter baskets from Ballard Designs are adorable (and also on sale). Pottery Barn Kids has similar baskets with many cute, personalized liners to choose from.

I’m more of a pancake girl but this bourbon vanilla french toast recipe sounds amazing.

The 100 best children’s books of all time and the 100 best YA books of all time. You’re sure to see some of your favorites on these lists.

Speaking of kids’ books, this lineup of chic women in children’s books made me smile.

I just ordered my third of these teak shower benches. We now have two in our showers at the lake and one in our shower at home. They hold up so well and give you a place to put extra shampoo bottles, etc. as well as a place to put your foot while shaving. They feel a little bit spa-like too.

I’m eager to try this Tuscan salmon with parmesan cream sauce.

Have a good weekend!
