Links for Your Weekend
Happy Friday, friends! Did you have a good week? We’ve got a fun weekend planned. My sister-in-law (also named Julie Mayfield!) and I are hosting a baby shower for our first grandbabies due in October and December. We can’t wait to celebrate the moms-to-be and the little cousins on the way.
Here’s what I saved to share with you this week…

This is the most amazing home I’ve seen in a while. It’s a Georgian revival located in Pacific Palisades, CA. Actually, the whole portfolio of these architects is worth a look.
Gil Schafer has a new book coming out early next year. I have his earlier books and I immediately pre-ordered this one too. I know it will be as full of inspiration as the others.
Is anyone going to London soon? Here’s a list of nine bars with library/literary themes to check out.
I’ve been wearing this Vera Bradley robe all summer and it’s so comfortable. I have the Perennial Misty Surf print but there are lots to choose from.
Jenna Bush Hager has a new podcast coming soon where she’ll be interviewing her favorite authors. The trailer is out now and weekly episodes will start dropping soon. Jenna was a guest on my other favorite bookish podcast recently and she was really fun and interesting to listen to.
I’ve made these glazed pigs in a blanket a couple of times and they went over so well I’m sure I’ll be making them again. They’re really simple and perfect for football/tailgate season.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
P.S. A place to call home and lovely London.
Happy Friday, Julie! Wow, what an exciting weekend ahead – celebrating the upcoming grandbabies sounds like such a joyous occasion! The Georgian revival home in Pacific Palisades is indeed stunning – architectural beauty at its finest. I’m looking forward to Gil Schafer’s new book; his work never fails to inspire. Those London bars with literary themes are intriguing. And thanks for the Vera Bradley robe recommendation – comfy robes are a must. Can’t wait for Jenna Bush Hager’s podcast either – she’s always so engaging. Enjoy those pigs in a blanket!
