Links for Your Weekend

Happy Friday! Do you have big plans for the weekend? I spent last weekend decorating the house for Christmas. I’m not doing a photo tour on the blog this year because everything is almost exactly the same as last year but you can see that post here: Woodland Christmas.

As I sometimes do on weekends, I’m sharing with you some things I’ve found interesting or entertaining from around the web.

Did you guys follow Will and Kate’s trip this week on the British Royal Train? The idea of train travel is so romantic and even better on a Royal Train. The Kensington Royal Instagram account covered it here.

An Instagram friend posted a picture of this completed puzzle last week and I couldn’t order it fast enough. It’s supposed to be delivered this Saturday and I am (not so) patiently waiting.

Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze Bedroom

Our bedroom is painted Urbane Bronze, so I was so interested to see that Sherwin-Williams announced it as their Color of the Year for 2021. (P.S. We’ve had this color for five years and I still love it. To me, it’s one of those rare colors: a dramatic neutral.)

Esquire wrote an entire piece about why While You Were Sleeping is the perfect Christmas movie and I couldn’t agree more. Can you believe it came out 25 years ago?

Jupiter and Saturn will closer together on December 21 than they have since 1226. From Earth, they’ll look like a single bright star known as the Christmas Star.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

P.S. Movies to wrap to and our paint colors.

  1. Great post – again! Although not the exact SW shade, we have a similar paint color on some of our walls (Pittsburgh Paint). Love how it looks grey but with slight green undertones when you really try to analyze it.
Love the puzzle, the price not so much! Loved While You Were Sleeping – wow, 25 yrs!
    Have a great weekend.

  2. Oh Rita, I didn’t pay that price I promise you. When I ordered it was available from other sellers much more cheaply. Sorry about that!
