Our Easter in Pictures

Happy Tuesday, all. I hope your week is off to a good start. I was looking through our Easter pictures and I thought I’d share in case you’d like to see.

We had a very casual Easter dinner, just the five of us. Lindsey and Morgan hosted and it was a treat.

They set the cutest table.

They made an amazing dinner. The potatoes were Ina’s potato and leek gratin.

I’ve been wanting to make these prosciutto asparagus puff pastry bundles and Easter was the perfect time to try them out, especially since I wasn’t hosting. (They involve a bit more work than I’m used to!) Everyone gave them a thumbs up.

A couple of notes in case you want to try them: I subbed smoked gruyere for regular and they turned out fine. I also added a tiny bit of water to the beaten egg for the wash. Finally, make sure you cut your pastry squares into true squares. I got a little sloppy on the second batch and rectangles don’t fold as prettily as squares do. 😉

Here are a few more pics of the family…

Milo and I are big fans of relaxing Easters! I hope you all had a good weekend and a nice Easter if you celebrate.

P.S. Hello Spring and around the house(s).
