Potted Herb Garden
We are smack dab in the middle of two graduations, my son from high school last night and my daughter from college on Saturday. But I recently planted a few herbs and snapped a few pics so I wanted to take a minute to share them here.
I chose the two herbs that I buy the most at the grocery store – basil and dill – and then added some rosemary and thyme for good measure. Isn’t thyme so pretty?
I used the concrete planter I bought at that greige estate sale back in March.
And I added these little cast iron herb markers from Antique Farm House.
I’ve taken an (extreme) liking to Starbuck’s iced green tea with mint so I’d like to plant some mint too. But that will need it’s own pot because I’ve been around the herb gardening block enough to know that mint goes crazy and takes over everything.
What are you planting this spring?
This post is part of Feathered Nest Friday and Fishtail Cottage Garden Party.
I love those little stakes! would enjoy seeing you share your post over at Fishtail Cottage’s garden party this week! xoxo
