Kitchen & Tabletop

Take Out Boxes

I always keep these on hand to send home food with friends and family after a dinner or party. So easy to keep in my pantry and they don't have to return anything.

La Rochere Fleur De Lys Glasses

Classic, French glasses. I have the fleur de lys pattern, but the bee pattern is very popular too.

Blue Willow Salad Plates

These look great paired with either the Blue Willow or your favorite white dinner plates. Add red gingham napkins and woven placemats for a great summer look.

Blue Willow Dinner Plates

A timeless, classic pattern.

Friendly Village Dishes

I adore this classic, English pattern. I have vintage dinner and salad plates in and use them for both my Thanksgiving and Christmas tables. The vintage pieces can be found online or in antique stores but this popular pattern is still being produced and can be bought new.

Cotton Hemstitch Napkins

I have these in navy and I love the classic hemstitch detail.

Gingham Napkins

These work great with the Blue Willow plates for the perfect summer table setting.

Buffalo Check Tablecloth

I can never get enough buffalo check.

Woven Placemats

An easy way to give your table that layered look. I use them alone or on top of tablecloths.

Scalloped Ramekins

I love using these little ramekins when entertaining (on charcuterie boards, for dips) but we also use them every day to hold snacks (salsa, nuts).

White Porcelain Quiche Dish

This is a quiche dish but it can be used for so much more. I mostly pull it out for desserts or making baked/warm dips. I love that it comes in two sizes.

Mini Salt and Pepper Shakers

I’ve use mini salt and pepper shakers at every place for holidays and dinner parties. No more having to pass the salt and pepper.

GreenPan Skillets

Nonstick skillets are so convenient (Tom in particular loves them when he makes breakfast) but I'm always worried if they're healthy. So I replaced our cheap ones with these by GreenPans which are free of all kinds of toxic things that I've never even heard of, let alone knew to look out for. Can be used on any kind of cooktop (including induction, which we have) and they're oven and dishwasher safe.

My Favorite Water Bottles

I use these every day and even gave a couple to my dad because he noticed me drinking from them and wanted them too. They're clear so you can see how much is in them, and have lids that don't have to be screwed on but are super secure. They come with silicone bands if you want to track how much you're drinking (I don't use them but do find that I drink so much more water when I drink through a straw). BPA-free and dishwasher safe.

Chafing Dish with Glass Lid

I love using this when entertaining. It's a step up from the wire chafing dishes with disposable pan.

Lake House

Navy and White Paisley Sheet Set

I used these paisley sheets to balance out the checks and stripes in the other bedding.

Navy Striped Duvet Cover

We're using this duvet cover and shams in our bedroom at the lake. I love how this design is a classic but has a nautical feel too.

Eddie Bauer Sheet Set

Eddie Bauer makes bedding in classic, casual patterns that I love. This sheet set has an oar pattern - perfect for the lake - but it comes in a lot of other fun patterns too.

Jute Rug with Navy Border

I got this jute rug for the twin bedroom at the lake. It's very comfortable underfoot for a natural fiber rug and I love the addition of the navy border.

Plaid Comforter and Sham Set

Red and White Quilt and Sham Set

Queen Platform Bed

Platform beds have been a lifesaver at the lake because they're affordable and don't require a box springs. We got one for our bedroom there and chose this one for our son's room which doubles as a guest room when he's not there.

Braided Jute Area Rug

I love natural fiber rugs and I have become a big fan of jute rugs in particular because they are comfortable underfoot. This rug is currently in two (soon to be three) rooms of our lake place.

Jersey Knit Duvet Set

Jersey knit is so cozy and comforter. I chose this set for one of the bedrooms at the lake.

Khaki Gingham Quilt and Shams

Nautica Sheet Set

I was looking for sheets in a classic ticking pattern when I ran across these by Nautica. This link will also take you to other fun nautical patterns like fish, sharks, whales, and anchors.

Faux Cashmere Throw

This throw is so pretty but what's really great about it is how soft it is. It's lightweight and comes in a bunch of colors.

Hand Blown Glasses

I pinned these hand-blown Mexican drinking glasses to a lake house Pinterest board long before we had a lake place because of the blue rims. They'd be equally at home in any kitchen, however, because they're such classics.

Knife Set and Block

I love, love, love this knife set. So much that I kind of wish it was the one I had at home and not at the lake. I love the look of stainless and wood together and bonus that it came with two sets of scissors as I use kitchen scissors a lot.

Hanging Flower Baskets with Fiber Liners

I love dressing up hanging baskets of flowers by taking them out of the plastic pots they come in and transplanting them to these.

Outdoor String Lights

I love the Edison style of these outdoor string lights. We have them on our deck at the lake and paired them with the Smart Plug in this section so we can dim them and turn them on and off from our phones.

Smart Dimmer Plug

We use this with our outdoor patio lights so we can turn the lights on and off and also dim them from our phones. It also works with Alexa.

Mexican Train Dominoes

Some friends of ours introduced us to Mexican Train Dominoes at the lake and I knew we needed to have a set of our own. Such a fun game for a group.

Health and Beauty

Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser

Recommended by my dermatologist. Also comes in a formula for dry and/or sensitive skin.

Microfiber Facial Cleansing Cloths

I switched to these from washcloths and love how small and fast-drying they are.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Moisturizer

Recommended by my dermatologist. Also comes in a formula for super dry skin.

SkinCeuticals Vitamin C Serum

My dermatologist recommended this Vitamin C serum to help with fine lines and wrinkles and to protect against environmental damage. I use it once a day, in the morning.

Australian Gold Sunscreen

I use this when I'm not wearing makeup. Since it's tinted it provides a little bit of coverage and eliminates the white cast you can get with some sunscreens.

Mineral Sunscreen with Built-In Brush

A dry, mineral sunscreen that can go over makeup. I love the built-in brush.

L’Oreal True Match Foundation

This is my everyday foundation. It's affordable, lightweight, and has physical sunscreen in it.

CC+ Cream with SPF

7 products in one, including foundation and sunscreen. I love this for the coverage it provides and the high SPF.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum

I'll be honest, when I'm outside for a whole day (at the lake, on vacation, tailgating) and the humidity is bad, nothing really works think Monica on that episode of Friends). But under normal summer conditions, this serum works as well as anything I've tried and I've tried a LOT.

OPI Cajun Shrimp Nail Polish

My favorite polish color for years. Perfect for summer but I wear it year-round.

OPI Nail Polish Drying Drops

I'm usually polishing my nails while running out of the house and these drying drops keep me from messing up my newly painted nails.

Exfoliating Foot Peel Masks

Put these foot masks on for 30 minutes to an hour and within a few days the dry or dead skin on your feet will start to peel away. You can use them up to once a month and I like to help things along with the foot file also in this section.

Stainless Steel Foot File

This foot file is the real deal! It works so well...I use it especially on my heels which are a real problem area for me. A word of caution: use it gently. It's so good that you don't want to overdo or apply too much pressure.

Plaid Disposable Masks

I have yet to find a cloth mask as comfortable to me as the paper ones, but I was tired of the medical blue versions. Imagine my surprise when I found these paper masks in a black watch plaid. Most people don't realize it's not a cloth mask when I'm wearing it.

Shiatsu Massager

I love, love, love this massager. I bought one for my mom, one for my daughter, and one for myself. It uses a kneading motion with heat and works equally well on shoulders and backs.
