Spring Tray
The hot chocolate ingredients have been put away for a while so I was looking to spring-i-fy my wooden tray.
I pulled out these garage sale bunnies and the bunny plates those high pressure saleswomen at the Serendipity Resale Shop sold me.
The bunnies and plates looked a little naked just sitting there on the bottom shelf, so I added some natural basket filler from World Market.
The middle shelf got some craft store Easter decorations I had on hand.
And some of the bridal shower flowers are still going strong, so I put these little white ones in an ironstone pitcher and set them on the top shelf.
Along with a little nest, also from World Market.
And this mason jar of jelly beans ended up on the top shelf for easy access. I think I have all the black jelly beans eaten out; I’m the only one in the family who likes them.
Can we talk about black jelly beans? I find people have strong feelings about them. What’s your call: fan or not?
This post is part of Seasonal Sunday, Metamorphosis Monday and Tablescape Thursday.
Definitely not a fan of black jelly beans. But I do love your bunny plates and figures display! Kind of fun to have Easter fall so late in April so the bunnies have lots of time to frolic on mantels and shelves.
Agree with you about the bunnies, Angela. And save your black jelly beans for me. 🙂
I say yes to black jelly beans – as well as to all colors of jelly beans for that matter, as well as to greige !
Wonderful to see bunnies out and about inspiring me for a spring wreath and table decoration; spring has arrived !
Yay for jelly beans. And spring.
Julie,
I am totally smitten with your bunnies, dear one!!!
Love how you’ve displayed them with your dishes! Bordallo Pinheiro?
NOT a fan of Jelly Beans, period!
“Mr. Ed”. . .whole ‘nother story…and YES!!! He LOVES the black ones!
He puts them inside a vintage glass chicken waterer!!!
This Spring Tray is simply divine!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Yes, Pat. Bordallo Pinheiro. 🙂
I think it is adorable! Makes me want one!
Thank you, Julie. I’m really enjoying this tray. So many things to do with it.
I love it Julie!!!! Chrsitine from Little Brags
Thank you. 🙂
I love black jelly beans!! I like the new tray set up- very cute! I think we have the same pitcher! Cute faces on the bunnies…the grass gives it just the right touch!
Another black jelly bean lover. Yay!
I am not a fan of black jelly beans…but I do save them for my 93 year old mother! I went back and read the post where you purchased those plates….great story! I think you did the right thing! 😉
That’s so sweet that you save them for your mother, Donnamae.
What a lovely tray! Those plates are wonderful.
This is wonderful! The composition is just great.
Thanks for being a part of Seasonal Sundays.
