Weekend Links

Do you have a fun weekend ahead? The weather here looks like it’s going to be perfect for outdoor dining. Speaking of which… I’m obsessed with this picture that I ran across on Pinterest. The chairs, the block print tablecloth, the bamboo silverware, all the blue…I adore it. Unfortunately, the picture didn’t link to anywhere so I don’t know who to credit. If anyone knows the source, please let me know.
Here are some other things I saved to share with you.

A summer cottage on Long Island.

The art of keeping a travel journal.

11 bookish things every bibliophile should do at least once.

Strawberry mascarpone crostini.

This made me laugh.

The best-designed building in every state. (The one in Kansas is on the campus of my alma mater!)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
thank you for the tour of Ina’s world, i needed that.
Glad you enjoyed it, June. Have a wonderful weekend!
Great post! I love Ina’s barn and combo libraries/dining rooms. Have been thinking about that at my own house, but can’t quite get my husband’s buy-in. Have you been to the Library of Congress? Back in the dark ages in college I did semester in D.C. and we each had a shelf there and used it as a base for independent research. What a privilege!
Janet, wow! Your own shelf at the LOC? That’s amazing. No, I haven’t been back since 2004. It’s on my list though!
