Weekend Links
Welcome to the last weekend of 2019. How the heck did that happen?
Here are some things I saved to share with you here.

Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2020 is Classic Blue. Normally I don’t pay much attention to this announcement each year, but “classic blue” got my attention. My love for this color runs deep.

Speaking of blue, Nell Hills carries these blue and white pet bowls and they’re available to order online. We had one of these for our sweet Cash, who we lost last fall.

Are you watching Season 3 of The Crown? It took Tom and me a few episodes to get used to the new cast, but we’ve adjusted (we’re about halfway through) and now it’s my favorite season so far.
Fun followup: turns out my daughter’s fiancee does read my blog (hi Morgan!) and saw the book I had gotten him for Christmas that I blogged about here. As it turns out, he had already read it and liked it so much he wrote a paper on it in college. Lindsey tipped me off so I got him a replacement book. Whew! But now I’m eager to read the book for myself.

Gretchen Rubin has six great tips for dealing with post-holiday clutter. I took special note of #2. Normally I leave decorations up until New Year’s but I’m finding myself eager to take them down this year.
Are you a jigsaw puzzle fan? My kids and I finished this Chicago puzzle on Christmas Eve, and Tom got me this puzzle of book covers for Christmas that I put on my wish list when I saw it on Modern Mrs. Darcy. I can’t wait to get started on it.
What’s in store for your weekend? I hope it’s a good one!
