I’ve said it before but Thanksgiving weekend is my favorite weekend of the year. The fire’s going, football’s on, and the fridge is full of food. We have extended family coming this afternoon (but it’s very laid back so no stress). There’s even snow in the forecast. Happy holidays, everyone!

We’ll have a full table tomorrow which makes me happy. There’s nothing better than a big group at the holidays. I am also way ahead of the game (for me) so the table is set and I’m going to do some cooking this afternoon. No matter how prepared I am though, it always gets crazy at the last minute. Same for you? For those who have asked about our Madeline, she is doing well! She’s is still in the hospital while she masters feeding, but she’s back above her birth weight and making lots of progress. I hope however you’re spending Thanksgiving that you are happy, healthy, and with the ones you love. And safe travels if you’re doing that too!

We have been tailgating for the @kufootball games since @lindsmayf was a freshman in 2010. Season ticket holders for most of those years. We never gave up! And now Coach Leipold and @kufootball are rewarding us big time! Yesterday was wet, cold, and SO MUCH FUN! Bowl eligible for the second year in a row. Go Jayhawks! ❤️💙🏈
