Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? We have snow forecasted for tomorrow and I’m pretty excited about it.
Here are some things I saved to share with you here.
Ben Pentreath is an English designer, who worked with Will and Kate on their Kensington Palace apartment, no less. As you might expect, he has two exceptional homes himself.
Here’s a link to the London flat where he lives with his husband.
Here’s a link to their country house in Dorset.
I’m so taken with all the books and artwork. His homes have that cozy, collected, and undecorated feel to them. They have soul.
One Kings Lane published a 2020 calendar of designer show houses around the country. There are houses from Palm Beach to San Francisco and many places in between (I was happy to see several Midwest houses on the list). They’re planning to keep this list updated throughout the year so check back if you don’t see one near you. Kansas City peeps: take note of the Symphony Designers’ Showhouse happening in April and May.
This list of 13 tips for getting more reading done is so helpful. Although #8 (maintain a big stack) doesn’t work for me. I’m more apt to pick up a book when there’s only one on my nightstand. What about you?
Have a wonderful weekend!
